Hanging out with city of dreams director Mo Ramchandani

Hanging out with Mo Ramchandani, director of the raw, wildly entertaining, deeply moving new film 'City of Dreams', which opens August 30th, after last night's screening at the Lionsgate Screening Room. Mo talked about being inspired to tell this story, in part, to better understand his physically abusive father (who was a sweatshop laborer with parallels with at least 3 of the sweatshop workers in this film) in order to better understand and heal himself, just as I wrote Killing Justice, in part, to better understand my emotionally abusive adoptive mom, who herself was the only child of a physically abusive father, in order to better understand and heal myself.
