Frederick Buechner on vocation/a central theme of killing justice

A central theme of my debut memoir is captured in Frederick Buechner's definition of vocation, that "The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet.", as prior to my arrest in the fall of 2009 for my friend's fraud, I had NEVER asked myself where my deep gladness could be found, but had ONLY asked myself "what does the world hunger for".
