love the new michael movie!

poster for the new Michael movie, which I got to see an advance screening of just now at UCLA's James Bridges Theater, & LOVED it, as what especially resonated for me was his decades long journey to break free from his domineering father, which mirrored my own decades long journey to break free from my domineering adoptive mom, which is at the heart of my debut memoir Killing Justice, now being adapted for the screen as Orphan Rising)/...it opens NEXT FRIDAY, 3/24, SO GO SEE IT (ideally, in a double bill with I Swear, as I loved both films equally, for different reasons)/...to be continued...
