LOVE, LOVE, LOVE The Odyssey, which we saw with some dear friends this past Sunday night at 11 pm in 70 mm IMAX at the Regal LA Live Theater....The Odyssey will bring up a lot of things, but at its core it's really a father and son story. Masterpiece is word often thrown around these days, but this is one time where that title is truly earned and deserved… Much like J. Robert Oppenheimer, Odysseus must contend with being the architect of human suffering, whether it’s the nuclear bomb or a Trojan horse. Lucky for audiences, his journey of self-forgiveness is a cinematic epic unlike any in recent memory...Similarly, my debut memoir Killing Justice, which we're adapting for the screen as Orphan Rising, at its core is a father and son story, and I too had to contend with being the architect of human suffering, but my journey of self-forgiveness is likewise at the heart of my story in both Killing Justice, and will be at the heart of our upcoming screen adaptation Orphan Rising.
